The management is overseen by Henrietta, and welcomes guests as long lost friends, followed in tow by Nigella and Tigga the hotel pets, who are more than obliging to keep children entertained.

The picturesque property can sleep up to 24 guests in 10 double en-suite rooms, all with private terraces. Each individually designed room has free Wi-Fi, mini fridge and a luxuriously built en-suite bathroom. An entertainment and outside dining pavilion sits next to the large swimming pool and allows you to enjoy the views of the extensive landscaped gardens. However, if you would prefer some privacy, we can also provide different areas for dining on the back and front terraces. A television and DVD player can be provided if necessary and a television with satellite is provided in the communal area.

A short walk or tuk tuk ride will take you to the spectacular Dalawella Beach, a beautiful lagoon created by a protective reef means safe swimming throughout the year. And we are 15 minutes from the extraordinary UNESCO world heritage site of Galle Fort.

We are easily reached in 2 hours 20 minutes from Colombo airport on the highway. Sri Lanka is a year round destination. Dry season tends to fall December through to April. And the southwest monsoon bringing cloudy spells in June/July and October/November. Overall you can guarantee sunshine and warm weather.

Unawatuna is a town in southern Sri Lanka. It’s recognized for its coral reef and its palm-lined seashores, like Unawatuna beach. Nestled in close by jungle, the japanese Peace Pagoda has a stupa with ocean views. The sea Turtle Farm and Hatchery south of town protects endangered species. North throughout the bay is the town of Galle’s fortified old city, founded by means of the Portuguese and multiplied by means of the Dutch in the 17th century.
