"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." - Matthew 4:17
"Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out" - Acts 3:19
"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 4:17) Turn away from your sins, change your evil ways, and do what is right. God himself wishes for you to repent and be with him. (2 Peter 3:9) But it is up to YOU, only you can change yourself. We have all sinned (Romans 3:23), even the most righteous and graceous were all sinners at one point. (Ephesians 2:3) But we have right this very second, a chance to repent and to be made right with God. By placing our trust in Jesus, by following his example. (Romans 3:22) Jesus said: “Truly, truly, I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin." (John 8:34) It is only when we come out of the bondage of sin and live as Christ, putting our trust in him, that we are free. (John 8:36) We should all renounce ungodliness and worldly passions. We should all live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives. (Titus 2:12) For the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. It is written: "Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10) So repent and change your sinful ways, have faith in God, and be free from the bondage of sin by the grace gifted to us by Him. (Romans 6:14) "May the God of peace be with you all. Amen." (Romans 15:33)
