সার ব্যবস্থাপনা: প্রতি গর্তে টিএসপি সার ৭০০ গ্রাম, এমওপি সার ৪৫০ গ্রাম, জিপসাম সার ৩০০ গ্রাম, জিংক সালফেট ৬০ গ্রাম ও জৈবসার ২৫ কেজি দিতে হয। গর্ত ভর্তির ১০-১৫ দিন পর মাটির বলসহ গর্তের মাঝখানে সোজাবাবে লাগাতে হবে। রোপণের ৩ মাস পর ৩০০-৩৫০ গ্রাম ইউরিয়া সার প্রয়োগ করা দরকার।
পূর্ণ বয়স্ক ফলন- গাছের জন্য ইউরিয়া সার ২ কেজি, টিএসপি সার ৩.৫ কেজি, এমওপি সার ২ কেজি, জিপসাম সার ২৬০ গ্রাম, জিংক সালফেট সার ৬০ গ্রাম, গোবর ১৫ কেজি এবং ৯ কেজি ছাই প্রয়োগ করতে হয়।

গ্রীষ্মের অন্যতম সুস্বাদু ফল লিচু। খুব অল্প সময় থাকে বলে চাহিদা অনেক বেশি।

বাংলাদেশ গার্হস্থ্য অর্থনীতি কলেজের ‘খাদ্য ও পুষ্টি বিজ্ঞান’য়ের বিভাগীয় প্রধান ফারাহ মাসুদা জানান লিচুর পুষ্টি ও গুণের কথা।

মৌসুমি ফল লিচু ভিটামিন ও খাদ্যশক্তির অন্যতম উৎস। এতে রয়েছে মানব শরীরের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় খনিজ উপাদান। শ্বেতসার এবং ভিটামিন সি’র ভালো উৎস। ছোট বড় সব বয়সের মানুষই এই সুস্বাদু ফল খেতে পারে।

তিনি জানান, লিচুতে রয়েছে সামান্য পরিমাণে প্রোটিন ও ফ্যাট যা মানব দেহের জন্য প্রয়োজন। প্রতি ১০০ গ্রাম লিচুতে রয়েছে ১.১ গ্রাম প্রোটিন এবং ০.২ গ্রাম ফ্যাট।

লিচুতে পর্যাপ্ত পরিমাণে শ্বেতসার পাওয়া যায়। প্রতি ১০০ গ্রাম লিচুতে ১৩.৬ গ্রাম শ্বেতসার থাকে।
এছাড়া লিচুতে ০.০২ গ্রাম ভিটামিন বি ১ এবং ০.০৬ গ্রাম বি ২ রয়েছে। এছাড়াও এতে কিছু পরিমাণে খনিজ লবণ থাকে। প্রতি ১০০ গ্রাম লিচুতে ০.৫ গ্রাম খনিজ লবণ পাওয়া যায় বলে জানান মাসুদা।
লিচুতে রয়েছে ভিটামিন ‘সি’ যা ত্বক, দাঁত ও হাড়ের জন্য ভালো। প্রতি ১০০ গ্রাম লিচুতে ৩১ মি.গ্রা ভিটামিন সি পাওয়া যায়। নানারকম চর্মরোগ ও স্কার্ভি দূর করতে সাহায্য করে ভিটামিন সি। তাছাড়া এটি ত্বক উজ্জ্বল করতে ও বলিরেখা কমাতেও সাহায্য করে।

প্রতি ১০০ গ্রাম লিচুতে ১০ মি.গ্রা ক্যালসিয়াম রয়েছে। ক্যালসিয়াম দেহের হাড় গঠন করে ও হাড়ের সুস্থতা বজায় রাখতে সাহায্য করে। লিচুতে অল্প পরিমাণে লৌহ পাওয়া যায়। প্রতি ১০০ গ্রামে ০.৭ মি.গ্রা লৌহ।

এছাড়াও লিচুতে রয়েছে থিয়ামিন, নিয়াসিন ইত্যাদি, যা লিচুর পুষ্টিগুণ আরও বৃদ্ধি করে। এসব ভিটামিন শরীরের বিপাক ক্ষমতা বাড়ায়।

শক্তির ভালো উৎস লিচু। প্রতি ১০০ গ্রাম লিচু থেকে ৬১ কিলোক্যালরি শক্তি পাওয়া যায়।

এটি শরীরের কোলেস্টেরলের মাত্রা কমায়। পাশাপাশি চর্বি কমাতে সাহায্য করে।

লিচুতে খাদ্য হজমকারী আঁশ, ভিটামিন এবং অ্যান্টি-অক্সিডেন্ট আছে যা শরীরে জমে থাকে ও দেহ সুস্থ রাখে বলে জানান ফারাহ মাসুদা।

লিচুর অলিগোনল নামের উপাদান অ্যান্টি-অক্সিডেন্ট এবং অ্যান্টি-ইনফ্লুয়েঞ্জা হিসেবে কাজ করে। এ উপাদান রক্ত চলাচল স্বাভাবিক রাখে, ত্বকে ক্ষতিকর অতি বেগুনি রশ্মির প্রভাব নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে এবং ওজন কমায়।

অন্তবর্তীকালীন পরিচর্যা: পূর্ণ বয়স্ক গাছে পর্যাপ্ত আলো বাতাস প্রবেশের জন্য অপ্রয়োজনীয় ডালপালা কেটে ফেলতে হবে। কলমের গাছের বয়স ৪ বছর পূর্ণ না হওয়া পর্যন্ত মুকুল ভেঙ্গে দেয়া দরকার।
চারা রোপণ: জ্যৈষ্ঠ-আষাঢ় মাস কলমের চারা রোপণের উপযুক্ত সময়। ৮-১০ মিটার দূরে দূরে চারা রোপণ করতে হয়। চারা রোপণের সময় গর্তে কিছুটা পুরাতন লিচু বাগানের মাটি মিশিয়ে দিলে চারার অভিযোজন দ্রুত হবে।
ব্যবস্থাপনা: এ পোকা দমনের জন্য ফল ধরার পর লিবাসিড ৫০ তরল বা ফেনিট্রোথিয়ন ৫০ তরল অথবা টোসিটকস আর ২৫ তরল এর যেকোন একটি প্রতি লিটার পানিতে ১ মি.লি হারে মিশিয়ে ১৫ দিন পর পর ২ থেকে ৩ বার সেপ্র করতে হবে। তবে মনে রাখতে হবে ফল সংগ্রহের অন্তত: ১৫ দিন পূর্বে শেষ সেপ্র করতে হবে।
ক্ষতির নমুনা: আক্রান্ত পাতা কুঁকড়িয়ে যায় এবং পাতার নীচের দিক লাল মখমলের মত হয়। পরবর্তীতে পাতা দুর্বল হয়ে মরে যায় এবং ডালে ফুল, ফল বা নতুন পাতা হয় না। আক্রান্ত ফুলে ফল হয় না।

ব্যবস্থাপনা: আক্রান্ত পাতা সংগ্রহ করে পুড়িয়ে ফেলা। ইথিয়ন ৪৬.৫ তরল বা নিউরণ ৫০০ তরল ২ মি.লি হারে প্রতি লিটার পানিতে মিশিয়ে আক্রান্ত গাছে ভালভাবে সেপ্র করা।

ফসল তোলা: ফলের খোসার কাঁটা চ্যাপ্টা হয়ে যখন মসৃণ হয় এবং ফলের গায়ে লালচে বর্ণ ধারণ করে তখন কিছু পাতাসহ ডাল ভেঙ্গে রিচু থোকায় থোকায় সংগ্রহ করতে হবে।

২, লিচুর মাইট দমন করতে সালফার ব্যবহার করতে হয় তাছাড়া ডাইমেথোয়েট প্রতি লিটারে ০.৫ গ্ৰাম স্প্রে করলে ভালো ফল পাওয়া যায়।
৩, লিচুর বিচি জোকারি পোকা দমনে প্রতি লিটার পানিতে 1 গ্রাম ডাইমেক্রম বা ম্যালাথিয়ন প্রয়োগ করতে হবে।
৪, লিচু ফল পচা রোগ হলে ডাইথেন ফর্টি ফাইভ অনুমোদিত মাত্রায় প্রয়োগ করুন।
