En cuanto al cinturón del arma, se descubrió que su cuero estaba cubierto con placas de bronce o latón recubiertas de estaño para "dar la impresión de plata cara". Dos ganchos permitían colgar la daga con bucles de cuero.

Los arqueólogos no están exactamente seguros de cómo un arma preciada como esta terminó fuera del túmulo funerario.

La daga y su cinturón de armas se exhibirán en el Museo Romano LWL en Haltern a partir de marzo de 2022.
