وتوقف منصور عند سورة الروم، التي تناولت صراع الفرس والروم، لافتاً إلى أنها شعوب مقاتلة، تعيش في ظلال الحروب، وأنه بعد سقوط إمبراطوريتهما، لم تتوقف دولهما عن الصراعات، فباستثاء الحروب الصليبية على المشرق الإسلامي بداية من 1095، لم تتوقف حروب الأوربيين فيما بينهم، حتى اتفاقية ويستفاليا لوقف الحرب في العام 1700، ثم عادت الحروب مجدداً مروراً بالحرب العالمية الأولى بين 1914 و1918، والحرب العالمية الثانية بين سبتمبر 1939 و 1945، وبين هذه وتلك احتلال واستعمار الدول الأخرى.

وشدّد أحمد منصور على أنه وكما هناك شعوب مقاتلة مثل الشعب اليمني والتركي، هناك شعوب غير مقاتلة، مثل منطقة جنوب شرق آسيا على سبيل المثال، وهي من أفضل الشعوب في التمريض وفي التطبيب والخدمات وغيرها، وكذلك الشعوب الإفريقية التي خضعت للاستعمار مطولاً، وأوضح أن الكثير من سور القرآن الكريم تحتوي على قصص القتال، وأدب القتال، وبالتالي الأمة المسلمة والعربية هي أمة مقاتلة، لذلك أقامت إمبراطوريات ممتدة على مر الزمان.
