The vintage charm of the 70s and 80s has paved the way for modern skyscraper opulence, but the spirit of classic Vegas lives on forever in these frames.

Today, the nostalgic 1970s/1980s skyline has completely transformed into a futuristic hub of megaresorts:
- Desert Inn (Center): Demolished in the early 2000s [3145 Las Vegas Blvd S today]. It has been replaced by the massive, curved golden-glass towers of the ultra-luxury Wynn and Encore Las Vegas [Wynn Las Vegas address].

- Riviera (Background): Imploded in 2016. The land has been cleared and repurposed into the massive Las Vegas Convention Center District expansion.
