Google introduces multifaceted featured snippets

- Multifaceted featured snippets can appear when a user types in an unclear search query that could have several different meanings.

- E.g. the search query “pain in my foot” could be a search for causes or remedies.

- For such scenarios, several featured snippets may now display. Each featured snippet will show each question that Google thinks the user might have intended, and each potential question will have its own answer.

- This will hopefully make it easier for users to find the answer they are looking for.

- Multifaceted featured snippets are currently only available on mobile for multi-intent queries, but Google plans to expand this to desktop queries and other types of searches in the future.
