Securing affordable and reliable energy is one of the most important and timely issues facing our state today – and it’s becoming increasingly difficult because of the Biden Administration and federal government’s irrational and unrealistic policy agenda.

The Ozone Interstate Transport Rule released by the Environmental Protection Agency is a perfect example of this outrageous overreach and our state is doing everything we can, including filing a lawsuit this week, to stop this rule. The legislature and many others will continue to fight for Utahns, push back against foolish federal policies, and do what it takes to keep the lights on.
