जब भी आप किसी अनजान जगह पर जाते हैं तो अपनी location को track करने के लिए और अपनी मंजिल तक पहुंचने के लिए GPS का use जरूर करते होंगे। लेकिन क्या आपने कभी सोचा है की जीपीएस में ऐसा क्या होता है जो कुछ ही सेकंड में आप की लोकेशन को ट्रैक कर सकता है ? आखिर एक ऑब्जेक्ट की लोकेशन को ट्रैक करने के लिए यह पूरा जीपीएस सिस्टम किस तरह से काम करता है ?
जीपीएस का पूरा नाम global positioning system है। जिसे Navstar भी कहा जाता है । GPS ,एक satellite based radio nevigation system है । जिसे यूएस गवर्नमेंट के द्वारा military purpose के लिए 1973 में एक प्रोजेक्ट के रूप में लॉन्च किया गया था । 1995 में पहली बार जीपीएस को आम पब्लिक के लिए ओपन किया गया ,लेकिन उस वक्त इसकी accuracy अौर quality इतनी परफेक्ट नहीं थी। सन 2000 तक यूएस गवर्नमेंट ने GPS सर्विस को बेहतर बनाने के लिए अनेक प्रयास कीये ,जिसकी वजह से सन 2000 से GPS system पूरी दुनिया में ठीक तरह से काम करने लगा
Whenever you go to an unknown place, you must use GPS to track your location and to reach your destination. But have you ever wondered what happens in a GPS that can track your location in a few seconds? After all, how does this complete GPS system work to track the location of an object?
The full name of the GPS is the global positioning system. Which is also called Navstar. GPS is a satellite based radio nevigation system. Which was launched in 1973 as a project for military purpose by the US government. For the first time in 1995 GPS was opened to the general public, but its accuracy and quality were not so perfect at the time. By 2000, the US government made several attempts to improve the GPS service, due to which the GPS system since 2000 started working in the whole world.

How Much Tax On Mobile Phones Imported In Pakistan - Mobile Phones Customs Values Issued By FBR

The tax regulator is set to seek go-ahead from the cabinet to legitimize smuggled inactive mobile phones on a payment of duty, a senior tax official said on Thursday.

According to the Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) projections, the import of smuggled phones in the market contribute to heavy revenue losses to the public exchequer, reports Dawn.

The official who declined to be named said that they will submit a summary in the next cabinet meeting.

As per the envisaged plan, the FBR has determined a plan to levy a tax on all those smuggled phones which are presently inactive and are stocked in shops as unsold.

The official shared a cut-off date between 1 to 1.5 months will be proclaimed for owners of such devices and avail the scheme to legalize it.

However, if the deadline passed all these phones on which duties aren’t paid at the nearest customs point will become useless, said the official.

Furthermore, those phones which are either smuggled before the deadline or after that won’t be considered for activation.

Those phone sets in use presently, legally imported or smuggled will be exempted from the payment of duty.

Likewise, the payment of duty on smuggled phones will be contingent on the category they end up being classified in.

In FY18, the country’s legal imports of mobile phones touched $847.656 million and previously the imports had surpassed $1 billion when there was no duty under the free-trade agreement with China or very little applicable duty from other nations.

Merge your new Facebook business Page with any existing Page, if you have one.
How do you do all of this? I’m glad you asked…

1. Download Your Profile Information

First, let me back up and explain. You need to download your Facebook profile information because not everything will move to your new business Page when the conversion is completed. The only items transferred over will be your current profile picture and your current friends and subscribers (who will be converted to Likes). You’ll also keep your current username.

You lose everything else. All of your posts, photos, bios and anything associated with the account. Yeah, I know. For the most part, you will be starting over. But if you want to recreate anything you had previously done, you’ll want to first download your info to have it handy.

Here’s how to download your profile information, according to Facebook. From the Account Settings page, do the following:

Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page
Choose Account Settings
Click on “Download a copy of your Facebook data”
Click Start My Archive
This file will contain virtually everything associated with your profile. I’m not going to list it all here because it is an extensive list. View Facebook’s list of what is included in the file here.

2. Appoint a New Admin to Groups or Pages You Manage

Facebook’s instructions actually only include Groups, but I have to imagine this should include Pages as well. When your profile is converted to a Page, the “old you” disappears. Therefore, if you were the sole admin of any groups or Pages, they will now be admin-less.
You must take care of this before the conversion.

3. Change Your Profile Name and Address

If you have an active business Page that you’ll eventually want to merge with, you’ll need to establish that this soon-to-be second business Page is a duplicate. So you’ll want to change the profile name and physical address to be the same as that Page. (If you don’t have an already active business Page, you can skip this part.)
Go to Account Settings to change your name
Go to your profile and click Update Info to access your address
4. Convert Your Personal Facebook Profile to a Business Page

Now that you’ve downloaded your profile information and assigned admins to applicable groups and Pages, it’s time for the moment of truth.
Go here to convert your Facebook profile to a business Page. I’m not real certain of what steps are included because I’m scared to death to go too far into the process. But it looks like this:
